New two storey extension to be built by B & E Boys at Emmanuel Holcolmbe Primary School.
B & E Boys Ltd has been awarded a £700,000 contract to extend and refurbish Emmanuel Holcombe School in Bury, which has a very restricted and difficult site area.
The Lead consultants are Aedas who worked with Boys at Manchester College. The works involve the demolition of a single storey 1970’s block, construction of a two storey Ashlar walled building, new electrical and heating systems throughout and a substantial refurbishment.
The Company was involved in a series of cost saving exercises with Aedas, to get the project below a tight budget figure. The works are expected to commence towards the end of November and complete thirty weeks thereafter.
