Arthouse expand their business in Waterfoot Rossendale.
Arthouse, one of the countrys leading suppliers of home decoration products, have been a tenant of B & E Boys at the former St James’ Church on Bacup Road in Waterfoot for close to 10 years now and have continued to grow. Not wanting to leave their converted church premises in Waterfoot, Arthouse recently approached B & E Boys, their landlord, to see if they could help. Adjacent the church is the Cloisters, a former Vicarage which was converted into 6 apartments prior to the Church and with a little patience whilst the flats became vacant Arthouse were able to realise their expansion plans on site. Two penthouse flats have been retained.
B & E Boys construction division are working on the conversion from flats to office accommodation, which has included the ripping out of some of the Bathrooms and Kitchens, opening up former doorways and installing a new internal timber staircase so as to keep the office accommodation separate from the remaining two apartments on the top floor. It is programmed that the work will be completed by the end of the year.
Undertaking work for exisiting clients and Tenants is something the Company has a long history of doing. As well as Arthouse, B & E Boys have recently enabled Datum Monitoring Ltd, whom we built a 6000 sq.ft office for at the Pavilions in Bury 5 years ago, to take occupation in part of a warehouse on the popular J2 Business Park in Bury. This involved splitting an existing empty unit in half to facilitate their growth but at the same time, removing 5000 sq.ft of void space from the Property availability list and all the hidden overhead costs that go with such space. We as a Company, continue to work closely with many of our tenants to encourage growth wherever possible. We feel that it speaks volumes that existing tenants wish to remain with B & E Boys.
