B&E Boys have successfully handed over the final phase of the £4 million redevelopment of the former gas holder site at Burnley College by completing the new Teaching Block to a BREEAM excellent standard.
The Company had previously completed the new Construction Skills Centre at the College, also to BREEAM excellent standards.
Director John Boys stated that “the scheme has been a great success with strong site management and good communication between client and contractor teams. We are proud to handover another quality building to the College and are pleased to be employed by the client once again.This has been a challenging project at times, with several environmental and engineering challenges to overcome.
Construction work has been completed by family run business B & E Boys which has been trading for over 50 years, from small to large projects, for both public sector and private enterprise. Clients include Local Authorities such as Bury Metro Council, Stockport Council, Rossendale Borough Council, health care for NHS and Private Healthcare providers Ramsay, as well as numerous developments in residential and industrial/commercial arenas. B and E Boys are CITB and NHCB members. The Company also undertake design and build projects.
