At the end of 2015, B & E Boys felt privileged to announce that we had been awarded a £1 million project on behalf of the British Steel Pension Fund on re-modelling of the well-known HMV building on Market Street, Manchester.
The extensive work involved the structural alteration of the three storey building into three retail units for the use of New Look, Sketchers and Pure Gym – the building now extends over a total of four levels and has now been completed and handed over to all three retailers.
B & E Boys are a well-established construction company in the North West, although we undertake projects across the entire UK! Our vast skill set sees us undertaking work on a wide variety of projects including commercial and residential construction.
We are a family run business and have been successfully trading for over 50 years. We are proud to have forged many prestigious business relationships including Stockport Council, Bury Metro Council and the NHS.
Whilst construction is at the core of our business, B & E Boys are always prepared to look outside the immediate industry and work on new and varied projects. This includes our commercial lettings which have provided local businesses with the premises they need to ensure they are efficient within their own sector.
We have also undertaken a quarry reclamation scheme, named The Hurdles. The Hurdles was a venue aimed at corporate team building events. The site permits rock climbing, archery and 4×4 driving. In conjunction with our facilities at St Mary’s Chambers, we can offer an end to end solution including banqueting facilities.
Whilst we love to use cutting edge techniques to ensure all our work meets modern day expectations, we also work on many restoration and renovation projects which require sensitive handling. We have a good working relationship with the national trust and understand the importance of adhering to their strict guidelines.
