B & E Boys Welcome New Tenant – The Canopy Company Who Have Relocated To Riverside Business Park, Rawtenstall
The Canopy Company specialise in the design and installation of commercial kitchen systems. Recently acquired by the ACME Group, the company has been relocated from premises in Burnley to one of our units on Riverside Business Park in Rawtenstall
Riverside Business Park is located in Rawtenstall, a convenient location within easy reach of the motorway network which provides links to Manchester, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and Blackburn. This site has industrial units of all sizes to meet differing requirements of both small and large businesses – the Canopy Company signed a ten year lease of a 14141 sq. ft. unit on the Riverside Business Park.
ACME are a solutions provider for the hospitality industry and just like B & E Boys, ACME have been established for 50 years. Over the last few years B & E Boys and ACME have forged a solid business relationship and we were thrilled to be able to provide them with the ideal facilities for their new acquisition.
ACME bought the Canopy Company through Benchmark International. Sean Routh of The Canopy Company stated that “Despite generating a number of interested parties, Benchmark International found the perfect acquirer within the first month of marketing the company. We were thrilled with their efforts and professionalism, and delighted we found an ideal match to drive the company forwards.”
ACME will benefit from the extensive knowledge of the Canopy Company team who are widely acclaimed as market leaders in their field. The company offers an end to end solution fabricating and installing bespoke products. ACME was already using the Canopy Company as one of their suppliers and when it came on the market, they were quick to put in an offer.
Buying the Canopy Company means that ACME can now bring all their fabrication in house. Speaking to the online magazine Catering Insight, ACME commercial director Simon Mallett was clear to highlight that the Canopy Company will still remain a stand-alone business. He stated, “We have talked to the customer base and most are positive about the deal because it means The Canopy Company now has the backing of the Acme group and it gives the firm more resources, which means it can further expand its ventilation expertise.
B & E Boys would like to take this opportunity to wish both Sean Routh and ACME the very best for their futures.
