B & E Boys were pleased to attend the Careers Convention at Thorn Primary School last Thursday, following a break of two years.
The Careers Convention looked to deliver awareness amongst the children of job opportunities available within the local community and beyond, in order to develop their aspirations and to think about their long-term future. Thorn Primary School are proactive in organising this convention annually to give young children the opportunity to discuss potential careers with people in different industries.
The children were given the opportunity to chat to many guest speakers including staff members from B&E Boys, who do a variety of job roles, in order to gain an insight into what could be their ideal job role.
Jaxon Boys, Andrew Horsfield and Michele Tracey answered questions from the children in an informal way about jobs/careers in the construction sector.
A huge thank you to the organisers and all those involved for a great morning!
