Leicester Arena……. A great success for B&E Boys
B&E Boys Ltd completed the successful handover of the £4 million Basketball and associated Sports Arena, funded by Sport England, Leicester College and Leicester City Council.
The new building will be the new home of Leicester Riders, Leicester Cobras Wheelchair Basketball Team and Leicester Riders Women’s Basketball Team. The grand opening took place on Wednesday 27th January by the City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby, and a Suite was also opened in the name of Kevin Routledge.
Kevin’s drive and his connections ensured that the project was a success both for Ball Hall, Daniel Conals, Leicester College, Sport England and B&E Boys.
The 2,500 capacity facility is owned by the Leicester Riders Foundation, the team’s charitable arm with the Riders as the main Tenants.
The first game was televised on Sky television last week, when Leicester Rider’s played Surrey Scorchers and the final score was 77-60.
B & E Boys undertake construction projects nationally up to £5m.
Industrial and commercial development is set to commence again on company owned Waters Meeting Bolton site next year where plans are to build over 150,000 sq foot for sale or to let to meet the growing demand in the area.
B & E Boys have industrial and commercial property to let in the North West and on competitive terms as well as having their own in house Construction Company and House Building Division.
