B & E Boys Limited have completed the substantial refurbishment of the south and north aisles, along with Organ Chamber and Lady Chapel at the St Lukes Parish Church, Heywood. The scheme was part funded by English Heritage.
The works involved new roof slating, extensive timber repairs, the complete dismantle and reassembly of the church organ, significant timber lath and lime plaster works, cast iron work and redecoration.
The timber repairs, organ dismantle and re plastering works were increased significantly, but the finished product looks fantastic.
The Boys team thanked the church members for their patience during the repair works.
