B&E Boys were pleased to participate once again in the annual Employability And Skills Fair, organised by Invest in Rossendale. The event was held at The Adrenaline Centre in Haslingden on Tuesday 9th July.
Over 50 local businesses exhibited with local schools invited in the morning and the general public welcomed in the afternoon.
Our own apprentice joiner, Jack Wilcox, attended the fair. Jack has won various awards over the last few years, such as the 2019 Overcoming Adversity award at the Young Persons in Construction Awards. Jack has done superbly overcoming various challenges having been diagnosed with dyspraxia while still at school. His story served as an inspiration to the many young people who attended the employability fair.
The event was a great success and it was fantastic to see local businesses working together to encourage and support young people.
