At B&E Boys, we take great pride in recognising the hard work and dedication of our team, especially when it comes to supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Today, we’re delighted to shine a spotlight on one of our rising stars: Billy Dawson, who has recently achieved his NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying at Burnley College.
Billy has been part of the B&E Boys team for the past four years, during which time he’s balanced on the job experience with his studies at Burnley College. His commitment to learning, his reliability, and his consistently positive attitude have made him a valued member of the team from day one.
Over the years, Billy has developed his skills across a variety of projects, with one of the most recent being the Dunsop Bridge development. He’s shown real talent and dedication to his craft and even had the privilege of meeting His Majesty The King during his time on site.
Billy has been supported throughout his training by his tutors, Paul Wilkinson and Ste Whitaker, whose guidance has helped shape him into the skilled tradesman he is today.
John Boys commented:
“Billy is a great lad, always polite and reliable. We are very pleased for him that he has achieved his NVQ2 at Burnley College. It’s a credit to the hard work he’s put in over the last four years, and we’re proud to have him as part of the B&E Boys team.”
Congratulations, Billy! Here’s to a bright future in construction and many more milestones to come!
