Following the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Budget announcement on Wednesday, 26th November 2025, Howard Standen and Peter Boys of B&E Boys attended the Blackburn Budget Breakfast Seminar, hosted at the Premier Suite at Blackburn Rovers FC.
The free seminar offered an in-depth look at the key policies outlined in the Budget and highlighted both business and personal planning opportunities. Attendees were able to gain valuable insights into the potential impacts of the Budget on their organisations and strategies for making the most of the new financial landscape.
B&E Boys have a long-standing tradition of attending these seminars and have always found them to be a valuable source of knowledge and insight. For Howard and Peter, the event was also an excellent opportunity to reconnect with local business leaders. They enjoyed catching up with Linda Wilkinson and Nadeeem Hussain from Pierce, Michael Kavanagh from Trevor Dawson, Jason Middleton from Handelsbanken, and Richard Kay and Michael Reason from McDermot Homes. “It’s always a pleasure to see such familiar faces and exchange ideas about the future of business in our region,” said Peter Boys.
By attending events like the Blackburn Budget Breakfast Seminar, B&E Boys continue to demonstrate their commitment to staying informed about financial and policy developments. Networking, knowledge-sharing, and community engagement remain key priorities for the company as they look ahead to the opportunities and challenges of the year to come.
