B & E Boys awarded NHS projects in Blackpool.
Blackpool NHS have recently awarded B & E Boys two projects to demolish redundant properties. The buildings which were constructed in the 1960’s have been replaced in recent times by state of the art centres of excellence. The first site to commence is Lytham Road close to the Blackpool tower which is host to the final of the popular Strictly Come Dancing show. A further project will commence in Abbey Road Blackpool in the New Year.
Both schemes were put together by Sunderland Peacock Architects.
Earlier in the year B & E Boys were nominated to demolish property at St Margarets for the NHS to cater for increasedparking demands at the site. The project involved clearing the site and groundwork preparation prior to tarmac being laid to extend parking facilities.
B & E Boys have a long history of undertaking work for the NHS and at medical facilities having extended Waterfoot and Clitheroe Health Centres, remodelling Preston Hospital entrance and reception rooms as well as alterations and refurbishment to treatment rooms for private health care provider Ramsay Healthcare.
