Abbey Road demolished by B and E Boys – but dont worry its in Blackpool
The NHS have awarded another project to the Boys as part of their programme of clearing former Health Centre premises. Not to be mistaken for the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, and The Beatles album, the site is one of a number of former Health Centres in the Blackpool area which have been centralised to new Health Hubs in the town.
The project involves the clearance of the former Health Centre and erection of barriers securing the site for client, Blackpool NHS Trust. The Contract Administrator is Sunderland Peacock and Associates Ltd for which this is the third such project awarded to B and E Boys after competative tender.
B & E Boys continue to work in the health care sector and are currently on site in Nottingham for Ramsay Healthcare, a national private health care provider. This project involves the formation of “hotel style” rooms for NHS patients whom have had overnight surgery.
Previous NHS jobs include the extension and alteration to a number of Health Centres for Health Care Trusts in Waterfoot, Clitheroe, and at Accrington and Preston Hospitals.
B and E Boys undertake construction work for both Public and Private Sector organisations including new build and renovation projects, including listed building works. The Company has undertaken work at Educations Institutions, Manufacturing premises, and high specification office buildings as well as building new homes for the Social sector and bespoke private homes. The Company has been building new homes for close to 40 years and its Homes division has over 100 homes in the pipeline with a number of additional sites in the early planning stages for future housing. The Company is also well know for rental property which offers industrial, commercial, retail and residential properties.
