B & E Boys Rawtenstall continues the tradition of helping business grow
B & E Boys are pleased to announce the expansion of one of our long standing tenants, The Bury Black Pudding Company (BBPC). They have rented commercial properties from B & E Boys for over 7 years and as their products are sold nationwide in all the top supermarkets, the need for larger premises has been on their agenda for a number of years. The dilemma has always been to either stay where they currently are and expand their space into adjacent units, or remove all of the expensive infrastructure currently enjoyed and move to alternative new premises locally. Fortunately, after extensive negotiations between Debbie Pearce, the proprietor of BBPC , Boys and the neighbouring tenant AT Set & Stage Ltd, a new 10 year Term was agreed for BBPC to take the whole of the modern unit facility, Units 12-14 equating to just short of 14 000sq.ft of high quality commercial space, located just off the M66 at Bury. This also involved delicate discussions with the adjoining tenants to re-locate their Businesses, which is always a challenge. However, 6 months down the line, and with the fit out works started on site, the expansion of BBPC is now very much a reality, with the new facility expected to be ready by March 2014.
The Bury Black Pudding Company are proud of the fact that they are the only company who manufacture Black Puddings in Bury and their award winning Black Pudding is supplied to their market stall in the world famous Bury Market. Due to their success and popularity, they now supply to all the major super markets including Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury, Asda, Co-op, Morrisons, Iceland, Selfridges and Booker.
B & E Boys share some of the family traditions with The Bury Black Pudding Company and we are therefore proud to continue our association.
