B&E Boys are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Civic Pride Rossendale in this year’s Britain in Bloom North West Awards. After months of dedication, creativity, and teamwork, the results have been announced – and the Rossendale community has once again shown what can be achieved through passion and perseverance.

As long-term supporters of Civic Pride Rossendale, B&E Boys were pleased to provide a replacement van earlier this year to help their team of volunteers continue their fantastic work maintaining and improving green spaces across the Valley. It’s one way we can support a group that does so much to make our local area brighter, greener, and more welcoming.

Award-Winning Results

Thanks to the efforts of Civic Pride Rossendale’s volunteers, several community sites received top honours in this year’s awards:

  • Level 5 – Outstanding: The Embankment, Inbound Layby, The Three Pines, The Youth Zone

  • Gold Award: Sparrow Park

  • Level 4 – Thriving: Reeds Rains Flowerbed

A huge well done also goes to Bacup Pride for their fantastic results — a reminder that community spirit is flourishing right across Rossendale.

About the Britain in Bloom Awards

The Britain in Bloom North West Awards, organised by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), recognise excellence in community horticulture. The awards celebrate projects that bring people together, improve local environments, and champion sustainability and biodiversity.

Each space is judged not just on its appearance, but also on community involvement, environmental responsibility, and horticultural achievement. Achieving Level 5 – Outstanding represents the highest possible standard and reflects the incredible dedication of Civic Pride’s volunteers.
