B&E Boys are proud to continue supporting Civic Pride Rossendale as they celebrate an incredible 25 years of keeping our Valley beautiful. This inspiring volunteer-led organisation has become a cornerstone of community spirit in Rossendale, transforming our shared spaces and helping to make the area a brighter, cleaner, and more welcoming place to live.
Our support this year includes sponsoring the Civic Pride van, which plays a vital role in helping their volunteers reach sites across the Valley. We’re especially grateful to Chris Bromley and Jan Shutt, long-time community champions and early influences behind Sunday Best with the Boys, for helping make this partnership possible.
25 Years of Dedication
Come rain or shine, Civic Pride’s volunteers can be found working tirelessly to maintain flowerbeds, hedges, and green spaces across Rawtenstall and the wider Rossendale area. Their efforts make a visible difference every day – whether it’s tending to colourful floral displays or collecting litter from roadsides and parks.
In fact, last year alone, Civic Pride removed an incredible 18 tonnes of litter from around the town – an achievement that speaks volumes about their commitment and hard work.
Looking Ahead
As the group prepares for the upcoming Britain in Bloom North West Awards, Civic Pride’s dedication continues to shine. The organisation has helped Rossendale gain recognition for its vibrant, well-cared-for environment – proof that teamwork and local pride can truly transform our towns.
