Our conference facilities Rossendale are regularly used by local primary and secondary schools, including Thorn Primary School, Broadway Primary School and Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School to hold meetings and interviews. The numbers attending the sessions can vary between 6 and 40, depending on the purpose of the booking, 1-4 rooms can also be used. All of this is managed to ensure the meetings run to schedule.
The Construction Developers Alliance hold their monthly meetings at Kingfisher. This meeting enables members the opportunity to network with fellow members which creates good working relationships. To ensure there is no conflict of interest the CDA structure only allows one business from particular discipline. The CDA encourages companies to work together and this is a philosophy B & E Boys supports and works with. Many of the members of CDA have offices at Kingfisher Business Centre or other properties in the B & E Boys property portfolio.
The CDA also host their own awards, this year being focused on Young People in Construction. The guest speaker and presenter of the awards this year was George Clarke also known as ‘ The Restoration Man’
Kingfisher has a range of rooms to suit all occasions with most available to hire on an hourly, ½ or full day basis. The use of meeting room Audio Visual facilities and superfast broadband are included in our rates.
