First Phase of the Burnley College block, housing the new Construction Skills Centre has successfully been handed over by B & E Boys Ltd
The skills centre will be the new home to Plastering and brickwork trades. College Deputy Principal Colin Crowther thanked B & E Boys for their efforts in getting the building ready as soon as possible for the new Student intake.
The Portal Frame Building with concrete mezzanine floor also has lecture rooms and an external service yard. The site was formerly a Gas Holder and the area was successfully re mediated and old mine workings pressure grouted prior to construction of the building.
B & E Boys are CITB and NHBC members. B & E Boys have been in construction for over 50 years and are well experienced in most types of construction for both public and private enterprise working in Government Buildings, Educational Establishments, Industrial and Commercial premises all over the North West and beyond having recently worked in Stafford, Wychnor and Enfield in London.
