Managing Director, Ashley Metcalf, has worked in the footwear industry for 37 years and has the professional approach, experience and expertise to suit any footwear retail or supplier business.
There is little within the footwear industry that Ashley Metcalf doesn’t know, having worked in management and in the technical, sourcing and design areas of the sector – across Ladies’, Men’s and Children’s footwear.
Ashley’s experience has all bases covered and the range of services that Footwear Technical Services Ltd offer is equally extensive. This includes working on the design, style and development of shoes with designers and buyers, sealing (fitting and improving) footwear, and the safety critical and risk assessment of types of footwear for all genders.
The company also offers ethical auditing, factory planning and quality control, alongside stock checking, packaging and analysing. The consultancy is always on hand to provide general footwear problem solving too.
