Oldham 6th Form College Arts Department and Duncan Lawton Building Work completed by B and E Boys Rossendale, Main Contractors
Professors Dame Nancy Rothwell and Brian Cox enjoyed a busy and successful afternoon at Oldham 6th Form College when they had the chance to sample some of the many activities the College is involved in. They also formally opened the new Duncan Lawton Building Extension and met a whole host of people including B and E Boys Directors Mike Smith and John Boys.
To quote Beverley Beaumont Director of Finance and Business Development at Oldham 6th Form College ‘It was great to see you both there and there was never any doubt that you wouldn’t have been invited. Thank you for building us such a fantastic extension to the College which has been transformed into a brilliant learning space.
If ever we have anymore building work (if affordable) I hope you will tender and I hope Mike gets to work back here.
All the best for a great Christmas and a happy prosperous new year.’
The work comprised of two steel frame extensions to the Art Department and Duncan Lawton Buildings, with glazed curtain walling, and Alucabond cladding as well as internal re-modelling and alterations to existing mechanical and electrical services.
