John Boys attended the Sustainability Seminar held by Handelsbanken at Noma on Friday.
Sustainability is something which is very important to us at B&E Boys .
Whether we are building new homes , business properties, or restoring and repairing historic buildings, we want to ensure that our works are a lasting legacy, whilst carefully balancing the carbon footprint of the works we carry out.
Handelsbanken have a similar mindset and are working to become a net zero bank! This was an insightful presentation and they addressed many of the issues faced by our industries. It was certainly useful information to prepare the industry for the future and how we address De-carbonisation.
We have already completed works on sustainable buildings, such as the BREEAM project at Burnley College and have many more planned for in the future.
A big thank you to Filipe Fernandes of Co-op Property, Tom Patience of Handelsbanken and Alastair Pattrick of Co-op Retail for your presentations!
If you have a project with sustainable, carbon neutral or net zero goals, then please get in contact to discuss your requirements with us.
