One of our current apprentices, Jack Highton, is developing his skills as a bricklayer while gaining valuable hands-on experience at one of our sites. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, Jack is learning the realities of the job, building confidence, and refining his craft in a real-world environment. His commitment, positive attitude, and willingness to learn have already made him a valued member of the team.
Jack’s progress highlights the importance of combining on-site learning with formal education. Apprenticeships allow young people to develop practical skills while understanding the discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail that high-quality construction demands.
Construction truly does run in the family at B&E Boys. Jack is the grandson of our very own John Crowley, a long-standing and highly respected member of the team. This connection reflects the strong values, pride, and tradition that sit at the heart of our company, and we’re proud to be supporting the next generation as they build their skills and future careers.
