B&E Boys is delighted to welcome Becky Heselwood back to the business as our new Health, Safety & Environmental Officer.
After a few years away, Becky returns with a wealth of additional experience, training and a clear commitment to strengthening compliance and promoting a proactive safety culture across the company. Her appointment marks an important step in reinforcing our ongoing dedication to the highest standards of health, safety and environmental responsibility.
A Strong Foundation in Compliance
Becky previously worked within the B&E Boys Properties Team, where she managed compliance and ensured adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. Since then, she has broadened her expertise further, serving as a Portfolio Manager overseeing compliance for multiple industrial and commercial landlords.
Her career has also given her significant exposure to construction environments. As a New Homes Sales Manager, Becky was involved in projects from concept and design through to marketing and completion. This end to end understanding of the build process now informs her dedicated health and safety perspective, giving her a well-rounded view of risk management across every stage of a project.
Professional Development
Workplace safety and compliance have long been central to Becky’s professional journey, and she is passionate about safety and wellbeing. Promoting mental wellbeing alongside physical safety is a key element of her approach, and she is committed to creating a supportive and responsible working environment.
She remains committed to expanding her knowledge and skills through ongoing training and further learning to ensure she stays current with industry standards and best practice.
Strengthening Our Safety Culture
Working closely with Director Peter Boys and the Health & Safety Consultants, AfterAthena, Becky will play a key role in embedding robust compliance systems and continuously enhancing safety standards across the business. She has already started strong – she recently attended the Key Employment Law & H&S Update in Lancashire led by AfterAthena.
Her combination of industry experience, specialist training and strong leadership support positions B&E Boys to continue delivering projects safely, responsibly and in full compliance with current legislation.
