We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dave Gamble for his incredible 40 years of loyal service to B&E Boys. As he embarks on his well-deserved retirement, we celebrate his dedication and the legacy he leaves behind.
Dave, a passionate Blackburn Rovers supporter, joined our company four decades ago, introduced by our then Contracts Manager, Walter Mawdsley. Walter, who also dedicated many years to B&E Boys before his retirement, lived just around the corner from Dave in Haslingden and still does to this day.
Starting as a painter and decorator, Dave’s journey with us saw him become a vital part of our Property Maintenance team. His expertise in operating large access equipment was invaluable for working on our multi-storey buildings and church spires. Many of our team members have had the privilege of learning from Dave, especially when tackling those challenging, hard-to-reach places. Although Dave will continue to lend his skills to us occasionally, he now looks forward to spending more time with his wife Vicky and their son Jamie. Additionally, he will indulge in his passion for building model boats. In recognition of this, Michael Boys recently presented Dave with a model Galleon he has been eager to construct.
Join us in wishing Dave a joyous and fulfilling retirement as well as seeing him with paint brush in hand on site soon. ️⚓
