Boys awarded construction project at Henrietta Street Depot in Bacup for Rossendale Borough Council.
B&E Boys has just won its first job with Rossendale Borough Council for almost twenty years.The company are proud to be working back in the Rossendale Valley using local labour to assist in the relocation of the bin wagon repair depot.
The works include stripping out the existing accommodation, upgrading fire regulation work, installing an inspection pit, constructing a new floor slab over a large culvert and installing a new portal frame inside the shell of an existing building. The consulting structural and civil engineers are Booth King Partnership formerly from Rossendale.
Externally, there are drainage and hard stand improvements to be made There will be specialist exhaust and ventilation installations as part of the works
The works are to be carried out as part of the forthcoming Morrisons development in Bacup.
