B & E Boys/Kingfisher have been involved in the Careers Advice Day for the last 2 years day here at Kingfisher Business Centre, Rawtenstall. This years event has evolved following feedback and the focus for this years’ event will be for employers to offer live job vacancies and training apprenticeships at an event to be hosted at the old fire station-The Zone, Rawtenstall.
The working group (including B & E Boys) has genuine concerns about the opportunities available for the people of the Valley and hope that events like this could go some way in helping form bridges and opportunities for the people of Rossendale.
To date over 40 companies have confirmed attendance at the fair offering 100+ vacancies & apprenticeships- B & E Boys, Boo Hoo, Rossendale BC, Greenvale Homes, 1st Choice Alarms, Lancashire CC, Body Shop at Home, 24/7 Home Rescue, Express Gifts, Bacup Social Enterprise, Astra Care, The Army, Claims, Money & Debt, Valley Supported Living to name but a few. Apprenticeships will also be offered from Accross College, NLCG, RWP.
The Jobs Fair will be held on Friday 4th July, 10am-2pm at The Zone, Burnley Road, Rawtenstall.
