Central Methodist & Christ Church Bacup to host the first valley jobs fair / careers advice day 5th march 2015 from 10am til 6pm
B & E Boys/Kingfisher have been involved in the Valley Careers Advice Day and Jobs Fair for the last 3 years. Following feedback from last year there will be 2 events this year, one at each end of the Valley. We will now be able to offer more residents of the valley real opportunities around Training, Apprenticeships and live vacancies. The first event is to be hosted at the Central Methodist & Christ Church in Bacup which will be attended by over 20 companies and organisations offering Jobs, Careers advice and training opportunities based in the valley offering live vacancies, careers advice or apprenticeships.
The working group (including B & E Boys) hope to highlight the opportunities available for the people of the Valley and hope that events like this could go some way in helping form bridges and opportunities for the people of Rossendale.
In addition to live vacancies apprenticeships will be offered from Accross College, NLCG, Job Centre Plus, as well as advice on CV writing and interview techniques.
The first of this years Valley Jobs Fair will be held on Thursday 5th March, 10am-6pm at Central Methodist & Christ Church in Bacup
