A fantastic day at Rossendale Rugby Club
We had a fantastic day at Rossendale Rugby Club this weekend! We, and the other sponsors had a glorious day where we were given the opportunity to watch a
training session and to see the new season strip, which we have sponsored, being presented to the players. We were also present for the unveiling of the latest pitch-side spectator stand.
We then enjoyed a three-course meal whilst watching the Derby Match between Burnley and Blackburn.
It was great to see all the hard work of Simon Bond, the groundsman, as the grounds looked fantastic. Simon’s Dad – Jim Bond, AKA Vicar, used to work for B&E Boys as a Site Manager! We actually worked with Simon recently when we completed some essential painting works at the club.
The team looked great and fully prepared for the season; Coach Andrew Birtwistle has done some excellent work with the team.
We have continued to support and sponsor many of our local sports teams. Our communities are at the heart of many of the projects that we do and supporting them is one of our core values. If you or your company have been considering supporting your local teams, we heartily encourage you to do so – it’s a great way to support not only the players, but the larger community as a whole. Many of your community will have links to the club, whether it’s the support staff, local schools or the supporters, they all benefit.
With rising costs, a lot of smaller clubs and teams are struggling to keep afloat, your support can make a huge difference.
If you need a more personal benefit, then having your name or logo present in programs or on the grounds can expose you to additional customers, and you’ll receive a boost in your public perception. It can be a great way to network with other sponsors, or at least meet other business owners who are also fans.
We particularly enjoy this engagement and involvement in our local community. We firmly believe that this is a great endeavour and encourage you to join us.
