ISSL sign new lease and give St Mary’s a new lease of life.
St Marys Chambers Conference and Function Centre was recently leased to existing St Mary’s Chambers business ISSL.
St Marys Chambers is better known as Rossendale premier venue for functions and conferences and has been host to some of the most notorious celebrities of the “noughties”. Derek Hatton, Paul Burrel, The Hamiltons and Nick Leeson to name but a few, have graced the stage at St Mary’s Chambers as well as former Prime Minister Tony Blair, former Tory leader William Hague and the now Prime Minister David Cameron.
St Mary’s Chambers was renovated in 1999 by B & E Boys and was formerly a Methodist Church. Built in 1856 by local mill owners, the Whitehead brothers, the church was used as an air raid gathering point during World War 2 by Lancashire County Council before being acquire shortly after by the Rossendale Senior Citizens. Unable to afford the upkeep of the building B & E Boys were approached in the late 1980’s before finally agreeing to totally renovation the premises providing office accomodation and the Conference and Function Centre whilst continuing to provide luxurious facilities for Rossendales senior citizens to dance.
ISSL who specialise in the design, build and hosting of web sites and have been a tenant at St Mary’s Chambers offices for a number of years.
B & E Boys have already held a number of successful events at St Mary’s since ISSL took over and have been impressed by ISSL’s determination to bring fresh ideas and improve the services offered at the venue.
St Marys Chambers office suites are home to a number of successful Rossendale based business and organisations including digital creative advertising specialist JGM Agency, facilities management consultancy Thomson FM, Asahi Kasei Medical Group GMBH, and SWIIS Foster Care.
