What a fantastic weekend!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended Operation Market Harborough 2026 and helped make it such a memorable event. From the organisers and volunteers to the exhibitors, vehicle owners and every single visitor who came along, your support made the weekend another incredible success.
The event once again brought together an outstanding collection of military vehicles, tanks, classic machinery and historical exhibits, giving visitors the opportunity to experience military history up close. It was fantastic to see so many people of all ages enjoying the displays, chatting with exhibitors and helping to create such a brilliant atmosphere throughout the weekend.
A special thank you goes to the event organisers, whose hard work and dedication behind the scenes made everything possible. Events like this take months of planning, and it’s clear just how much passion goes into creating such a well-run and enjoyable weekend for everyone involved.
We’d also like to thank every exhibitor who travelled from across the country to bring along their incredible vehicles, tanks and displays. The care, time and commitment that goes into preserving these historic machines is remarkable, and they are a huge part of what makes Operation Market Harborough so special year after year. A special thank you also goes to Buckhurst Plant Hire for the outstanding care and transportation of our vehicles, whose support is greatly appreciated by all of us at B&E Boys.
Supporting SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity
One of the highlights of the weekend was seeing the continued support for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. The event helped raise money for this fantastic cause, which provides lifelong support to serving personnel, veterans and their families.
Last year, B&E Boys worked directly with SSAFA to support the charity. This year, with an official SSAFA presence at the event itself, we’re delighted to have been making our donation through the event, helping to support the fundraising taking place on site and contributing towards the fantastic work that SSAFA carries out every day. In total, we raised £1,487.55!
Welcoming Our Charity Auction Winners
It was also a pleasure to welcome David West of David West & Associates Limited and his friend Terry Hartley, who joined us for a tank ride after David won the prize in the Farleys St Patrick’s Day Charity Auction.
We hope they enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed welcoming them along. It’s always great to see charity fundraising creating memorable experiences while supporting worthwhile causes.
Looking Ahead
Operation Market Harborough continues to grow each year, bringing together military enthusiasts, families and history lovers for a weekend celebrating heritage, engineering and community spirit.
We’re incredibly proud to have been part of another successful event and are already looking forward to returning next year.
