Our Company
From modest beginnings over half a century ago, we have grown from small joinery building contracts to become a major player in construction development in the North West region.

Founded as a joinery business in 1961 by Brian and Elaine Boys, B&E Boys was grown from small beginnings through local work into a significant construction, property investment and house building company working nationally with approximately 60 employees. The Company is now the responsibility of their three sons who have continued to grow the business in their own right over the last decade.
At the company’s inception, Boys was based in Bacup, Rossendale, and employed just a few highly skilled joiners. As word spread from our many satisfied customers, new business increased and the organisation began to grow. We also employ our own in-house maintenance team.
From the company’s early roots in joinery, we have developed our organisation to meet the present needs of the many markets throughout the North West and surrounding areas.
Our growth
Over time, in order to meet the demands of the market, the Directors took the strategic decision to diversify into other areas of business. In 1986, B&E Boys (Properties) Ltd was established.
This company was created specifically for the property rentals and acquisitions market. Boys own and let over 500 properties in the Lancashire area.
B&E Boys established the Homes Division in 1973. In its first two years, the division built over 60 properties and has maintained a presence within the housing market ever since. Its most recent projects have included the development of several residential sites in and around Pennine Lancashire. In 1988, due to increasing demand from both Design and Build clients and existing tenants, B&E Boys established a Developments Division developing several industrial and commercial sites in the North West and Yorkshire.
