Refurbishment of local market

As part of a regeneration project for the area, Rossendale Borough Council commissioned this refurbishment project of the local market.  The works included façade refurbishment of trading units, new paving and drainage, new central covered structure and unit canopies, new lighting and signage, new gates and railings, and refurbishment of the existing WC block.

This was a tight site set on a busy high street. Whilst all traders had been moved from the market, we remained in close contact with the Council and the traders to ensure they were kept abreast of progress and could plan their return. We communicated with local residents to ensure minimal disruption.
