Refurbishment of main reception at Oaklands Hospital with a single storey wrap around extension

The works comprised of the refurbishment of main reception at Oaklands Hospital with a single storey traditionally built wrap around extension, with a glass roof to the new entrance, drainage diversions and external works to the new extension. Internally the works included glazed screens, new reception counter, mechanical and electrical works including ventilation and air conditioning, new internal fittings, as well as new wall, floor and ceiling finishes.

The work was carried out adjacent to a very busy hospital entrance. Our team operated within a small site area and were required to work around reception and surgery times to enable the entrance to stay live for the duration of the project and ensure hospital services were not disrupted.
