Construction of bespoke office building in sympathetic surroundings
Construction of a new-build office using high-end materials, including a Green Roof System, Portland Stone and Bronzed Aluminium Glazing. These top specification items have helped to ensure a stunning overall look for the project. In addition to the office build, a variety of drainage and external works have also been successfully completed. On completion of the building which is the centrepiece of the project, the original office accommodation has been demolished with additional car parking spaces being created in its place.
With plenty of experience of managing complex projects, B&E Boys ensured that disruption was kept to an absolute minimum so that the day-to-day running of The Crematorium could continue unaffected and with complete safety for all concerned. Due to the nature of the project, safety, discretion and attention to detail were paramount. All the adjacent buildings and communal areas of The Crematorium grounds remained open and in full use by both staff of The Crematorium and the general public.
Manchester Crematorium is a well-known landmark situated to the south of the city centre. It was established in 1892 and is the second oldest crematorium in the whole country.
