An existing tenant of B & E Boys Limited that have seen excellent growth especially during the current economic climate required more space in Rawtenstall and were only to keen to expand into an adjoining unit. The company has taken a further 13,237 sq foot with B & E Boys Limited after securing a funding package to export its technology to sports fields around the world. Linemark UK are specialist suppliers of line marking products used mainly in the sports industry for the last 20 years at some of the most prestigious sports stadiums in the country and in Europe. Their clients include football clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool. They also line mark at Twickenham and Murrayfield.
Linemark have developed an Impact Gold Paint system, which uses concentrated paint and a pressure sprayer, making it possible to mark a whole football pitch with just one litre of paint and no water.
The Rossendale-based company, which has a turnover of £2.4m and employs 27 staff, said its products are already exported to France, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
But it hopes the funding, will enable it to move into countries where water conservation is a major issue.
Director Tony Holt said: “The export side of the business has grown significantly in the last 12 months and we now have a presence in most European countries plus Australia and New Zealand.
The company were also proud to be a key part in the designs and markings in the Olympic Stadiums this year when London hosted the Olympic Games.
