Phase Three of the B&E Boys scheme at Waters Meeting in Bolton is now well underway and is due for completion in 2022.
At 25 acres, Waters Meeting is one of the largest development sites in the region, currently undertaking over £15 million of construction work, making a vital contribution to the local economy both during development and beyond.
Work began at the site back in May 2017 and right from the start, this ambitious scheme presented challenges, including the reclaiming of contaminated land and specialist ground treatment works. B & E Boys have driven the development through from the early planning stages to construction, turning it into the popular site it is today.
Phase One of the scheme involved improving the site’s infrastructure, whilst Phase Two concentrated on the development of storage, workshop and office facilities to provide a mixed-use site comprising industrial commercial and office space. This next phase of the project sees the construction of over 55,000 sq.ft of new steel portal framed industrial units.
These brand new units offer between 5041 and 27253 sq.ft of excellent industrial space on a secure site with both manned security and state of the art CCTV. The units have been designed with many useful features and to be ideal for all types of usage. Property marketing agent, Nolan Redshaw have already been inundated with interest in this section of the site.
In a statement, Paul Nolan of Nolan Redshaw said:
“This is exactly what the market requires as there has been little or no new development close to the Town Centre in recent years. We have received significant numbers of enquiries and there is the flexibility of purchase or lease.”
Additionally, there are a limited number of office units still available on the Waters Meeting site, which is ideally positioned close to Bolton town centre with excellent transport and motorway links.
B&E Boys are delighted that this phase of the development is in progress and feel certain that the new units at Waters Meeting will prove highly desirable, providing an excellent opportunity for growing business and further boosting the local economy.
