We’re proud to share that Katie Whitham has successfully completed her training to become a Mental Health First Aider, attending the MHFA England® course from 7th to 10th July 2025. This nationally recognised programme equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide first aid to those who may be experiencing poor mental health, and empowers them to offer support, reassurance, and guidance when it’s needed most.
At B&E Boys, we believe that health and safety doesn’t stop at hard hats and risk assessments, it also includes mental wellbeing. Katie’s commitment to gaining this important certification reflects our ethos: supporting our teams, promoting safety in every form, and encouraging our people to grow through upskilling and professional development.
MHFA England® is a social enterprise working towards a society where mental health is everyone’s business. By training Mental Health First Aiders like Katie, they’re giving workplaces the tools to spot early signs of mental health challenges, start important conversations, and guide individuals towards appropriate support. We are proud to be part of that vision.
Katie’s new skills will further strengthen the supportive environment we’re proud to cultivate at B&E Boys. Congratulations again, Katie – and thank you for helping us continue to put people first.
